Yamato-taichou lead the mission that brought us to Tea Country. We left after our target was successfully removed from the village that was holding him, without casualties. Their defense was lacking, and I almost thought that it was simply a ruse but it seems the shinobi were unskilled. It was easy to tell that they were not from Tea Country, only using the village as a stop through to where ever it was they were headed. Their prisoner has been returned to Konoha, though I do not know what the Hokage will do with her now. It's none of my concern.|
I ran into Naruto on my way home, and then into Iruka-sensei, and ended up treating them both for food, though I didn't eat much. It was ramen, afterall. Not even an hour later we ran into Sakura and took her out to eat, since I was still hungry having not had much. It was entertaining, at least, to tease Naruto in front of Sakura.
I left them at the resteraunt so I could pick up a few supplies before heading home. Passing the flower shop, I somehow ended up being roped into taking Ino to lunch. She's a crafty kunoichi, because it all happened so quickly, I was agreeing before I could say no. She wasn't exactly difficult to be around, but I still have no ability to carry on a normal conversation it seems. I think I managed to insult her within the first ten minutes of sitting down at the cafe.
So much for trying to be social. This is why I keep to myself.
